October
By: Ley Wire
An October breeze,
Let itself in,
Blew rustling leaves,
Down, under my skin.
It just pushed through the door,
While I took a rest,
Howling sweet lullabies,
Rattling bones in my chest.
“Wake up, sleepy head.”
October Wind sighs,
“My colors are beautiful,
Watch as I die.”
