The Bear and The Boy

The Bear and The Boy
By: Ley Wire

The Boy said to his Bear in June,
“Let's see if we can reach the moon.”
They took a puddle for the sea,
And swam it bold and muddily.

“Let's go into the woods,” said Bear,
“Monsters and Glory live in there,
We have brave hearts and Time to spare.”
And Time was gentle to the pair.

The Boy said, “Bear, you understand.”
And put Bear’s paw into his hand.
Then, pushed his face in deep,
Into Bear’s fur and fell asleep.
