Homeschooling has been good to us. I couldn't imagine all the fun we'd have, all the hard work we'd get through or predict all the wonderful friends we'd meet along this journey.
School shirts have become a tradition. As well as picking out our new school name each year.
This year, one of our kids will be wearing a different school shirt.

He is really excited to start kindergarten and only asks me ten times every day, "how many days until school starts?"
The rest of us are going to miss him, but we're also excited for the extra time freed up by having a smaller student to teacher ratio around here, aka student to Mom ratio.
Anyway, I'm excited for school to start in earnest here. There's definitely a hurry up and wait feeling to the end of the summer. We're getting a little wonky around here.
